Projects Delivered On Time
I recognized a long time ago, as a young electrical contractor, that whoever was hiring us for a project had a boss or someone they needed to report to. That person was making a decision and entrusting us to do a professional job and deliver the project on time. Electricians touch every part of a project—we are the first ones in and the last ones out. When an estimator, project manager, director, or vice president chooses to hire NHT, it is our responsibility to perform at the highest level. This responsibility is not to be taken lightly. Our job is to make sure that the person who hired us looks good, and to quantify, that they made the right decision to hire NHT. It then becomes our duty to staff the project correctly, balancing both quantity and quality. We need to order the materials in a timely fashion and equip the project with the tools and equipment as needed so our man power can perform at a high level. It is our responsibility to deliver that project on time and under budget.
For 35 years, I worked with someone who went to three different Fortune 500 companies throughout his career—and each time, he took us with him. I figured that over the years, we must have done over 500 different projects for him in many different States. At his retirement party, I asked him how many projects had we done for him over all those years. He couldn’t answer (and neither could I) but we figured around 500 or more. Then I asked him, “Did we ever not deliver that project on time?” His answer was quick and decisive, no never.

A Worthwhile Investment
Our strength in project management provides cost effective results in time management and execution while streamlining the process methodology to leverage highest return on our client’s Electrical and IT investments. Our manpower is comprised of all W2 employees of NHT coupled with a large vehicle fleet. This allows us to have direct control management of scheduling, critical timelines and project costs. Outsourcing manpower is the main cause of project delays, poor workmanship and cost overruns.
